<br />.... <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />DES:yc:9/4/70 <br />ORIGINAL <br /> <br />( <br /> <br />Sf? 8 '70 <br /> <br />RES 0 L UTI 0 N <br /> <br />N O. to '3 '1/ <br /> <br />RESOLUTION AWARDING CONTRACT FOR THE CONSTRUCTION OF <br />INBORDIKES FOR REDWOOD CITY GENERAL IMPROVEMENT DISTRICT <br />NO. l-64; REJECTING ALL OTHER BIDS RECEIVED; AUTHORIZING <br />EXECUTION OF CONTRACT FOR SAID WORK; AND DIRECTING <br />RETURN OF SECURITY DEPOSITS <br /> <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to Resolution No. 6360, the city Clerk <br /> <br />called for bids for the construction of Inbordikes for Redwood <br /> <br />city General Improvement District No. l-64 in the City of Redwood <br /> <br />city; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to said call, bids were received and <br /> <br />filed with the City Clerk for the performance of said work; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, BRAGATO PAVING COMPANY, Belmont, California, is <br /> <br />the lowest responsible bidder and it is the intention of this <br /> <br />Council to award said bid to said Bragato Paving Company, to <br /> <br />waive any informality in the bid of the above mentioned low <br /> <br />bidder, and to reject any and all other bids received for said <br /> <br />work; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE; <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, <br /> <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />l. The bid of Bragato Paving Company, in the total amount <br /> <br />of Seventy-one Thousand Three Hundred-fifty Dollars ($7l,350.00), <br /> <br />more or less, computed in accordance with bidder's proposal opened <br /> <br />August 26, 1970,for Bid Items A-l and A-2, for the construction <br /> <br />of Inbordikes for Redwood city General Improvement District <br /> <br />No. l-64 in the city of Redwood city, in accordance with the <br /> <br />plans and specifications therefor on file in the office of the <br /> <br />City Clerk, is hereby accepted and said bidder is hereby found <br /> <br />and declared to be the lowest responsible bidder for said work. <br /> <br />2. Any and all bids received by the City of Redwood City <br /> <br />for the above mentioned work other than the bid mentioned in <br /> <br />paragraph 1 hereof, are hereby rejected. <br />
