RES 0 L UTI 0 N ---------- N O. hJ~/ ORiGJr~AL AUG 10 '70 RESOLUTION AWARDING CONTRACT FOR CONSTRUCTION OF BRIDGE PARKWAY BRIDGE CONNECTIONS AND ASSOCIATED WORK, GENERAL IMPROVEMENT DISTRICT NO. 1-64: REJECTING ALL OTHER BIDS RECEIVED: AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF CONTRACT FOR SAID WORK: AND DIRECTING RETURN OF SECURITY DEPOSITS WHEREAS, pursuant to Resolution No. 6341, adopted July 20, 1970, the City Clerk called for bids for the construction of Bridge parkway bridge connections and associated work, in General Improvement District No. l-64 in the City of Redwood City: and WHEREAS, pursuant to said call, bids were received and filed with the City Clerk for the performance of said work: and WHEREAS, Bragato Paving Company, Belmont, California, is the lowest responsible bidder and it is the intention of this Council to award said bid to said Bragato paving Company, to waive any informality in the bid of the above mentioned low bidder, and to reject any and all other bids received for said work: NOW, THEREFORE: BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, AS FOLLOWS: 1. . The bid of Bragato paving Company, in the total amount of One Hundred Sixty-three Thousand Fifteen Dollars ($l63,Ol5.00), more or less, computed in accordance with bidder's proposal dated August 3, 1970, for bid items Schedule A, Schedule B, Schedule C, and Schedule D alternate, for the construction of Bridge Parkway bridge connections and associated work, in General Improvement District No. 1-64, in the City of Redwood City, in accordance with the plans and specifications therefor on file in the office of the City Clerk, is hereby accepted and said bidder is hereby found and declared to be the lowest responsible bidder "
