<br />... - >,\.' <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />DES:yc:2/16/70 <br /> <br />ORIGINAL <br /> <br />to 2., G ~ <br /> <br />FES 16 '1() <br /> <br />RES 0 L UTI 0 N <br />---------- <br /> <br />N O. <br /> <br />RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING EXCR~NGE OF RFAL PROPERTY <br />INTERESTS--REDWOOD CITY GENERAL IMPROVEMENT DISTRICT <br />NO. 1-64 (DOLPHIN SUBDIVISION NO. .1) <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Pacific Gas and Electric Company presently maintains <br /> <br />and operates overhead electric power transmission lines upon, <br /> <br />over and across that certain real property heretofo~e dedicated <br /> <br />to the City of Redwood City for park purposes and her<=inafter <br /> <br />designated IIparcel I": and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, ,the' aforesaid company proposes to relocate said <br /> <br />overhead electric power transmission lines, and to place said <br /> <br />lines underground within"that certain'r~al 'property,hereinafter <br /> <br />designa ted "Parcel A II; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the public interest, necessity and convenience <br /> <br />require that said electric power transmission lines be so <br /> <br />relocated: and <br /> <br />\-1HEREAS, in order to effect said relocation and the placing <br /> <br />of said lines underground, it is necessary that certain property <br /> <br />interests in the aforementioned.parcels be exchanged by and between <br /> <br />the City of Redwood City and said company. <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Assessor of the City of Redwood City has, <br />pursuant to the provisions of subdivision (h) of Section 3-1/2 <br />of the Charter of the City of Redwood City, made an appraisal <br />of all the real property included within the proposed exchange <br />and has found that the value of the property to be received by <br />the City of Redwood City is equal to or greater than the value <br />of the property to be disposed of: <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE: <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />1.
