ORIGIN/,: RES 0 L UTI 0 N ---------- NO.~ JAH 12 .~ RESOLUTION REQUESTING BOARD OF SUPERVISORS OF THE COUNTY OF SAN MATEO TO PERMIT COUNTY CLERK TO RENDER SPECIFIED SERVICES RELATING TO THE CONDUCT OF GENERAL MUNICIPAL ELECTION TO BE HELD APRIL 14, 1970 WHEREAS, section 22003 of the Elections Code of the State of California provides that the governing body of any city may, by resolution, request the Board of Supervisors of the county to permit the county clerk to render specified services to the city relating to the conduct of an election: and WHEREAS, subject to the approval of the Board of supervisors, such services shall be performed by the county clerk: and WHEREAS, this Council desires that those specified election services set forth in Schedule "A" attached hereto and by this reference incorporated herein as if set out at length herein be performed by the county clerk for the City of Redwood city for the General Municipal Election to be held April 14, 1970; NOW, THEREFORE: BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, AS FOLLOWS: 1. Request is hereby made of the Board of supervisors of the County of San Mateo to permit the county clerk to render those certain specified services set forth in Schedule "A" attached hereto and incorporated herein for the City of Redwood City for its General Municipal Election to be held April 14, 1970. 2. The city clerk is hereby authorized and directed to transmit a certified copy of this resolution to the Board of Supervisors of the County of San Mateo. * * *
