DES:yc:12/10/69 - ORIGINAL RES 0 L UTI 0 N ---------- N O. 0t7q .1M 6 '1Q RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING EXCHANGE OF REAL PROPERrry IN'rERESTS IN THE VICINITY OF VER.~ ' AVENUE AND BLOCK 4, JEFFERSON ACRES SUBDIVISION (CITY AND COUNTY OF SAN FRANCISCO) WHEltEAS, the City and County of San Francisco has proposed that the City of Redwood City grant to it an easement for under- ground v-.:'ater transmission pipe lines within that certain real property described as Parcel I in "Exhibit All at:tached hereto and by this reference' incorporated herein as if set out at length herein, in exchange for the conveyance from the city and County of San Francisco to the City of Redwood City of that certain easement for roadway purposes and utility crossing purposes within that certain property described as Parcel A in "Exhibit A" together with the relinquishment of abutter's rights possessed by said City and County of San Francisco and consent to the vacation or abandonment of said Vera Avenue in the vicinity of the aforementioned Parcell: and WHEREAS, the Assessor of the City of Red\vood City has, pursuan.t to the provisions of subdivision (h) of Section 3-1/2 of the Charter of the City of Redwood City, made an appraisal of all the property included within the exchange and has found that the value of the property -to be received by the City equals the value of the property to be disposed of; NOW, THEREFORE; BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, AS FOLLOWS: 1. That this Council hereby finds that the 'value of the property interest.s described below to be received by the City of Redwood City ~s equal to the value of the property interests described below to be conveyed by the City of Redwood city.
