<br />RESOLUTION OF PRELIMINARY DETERMINATION

<br />OAK KNOLL - CANYON LANE & VICINITY
<br />SEWER IMPROVEMENT DISTRICT
<br />
<br />RESOLVED, by the City Council of the City of Redwood
<br />City, that it does hereby preliminarily d,etermine that the public
<br />convenience and necessity require, and that it intends to order,
<br />the following work to be done and improvements made in and for
<br />said City, to wit:

<br />The construction of se"nitary sewer maino, \vyes, tees. laterals and
<br />appurtenan.ces, cleanouts, lampholes, and manholes \vith fram~s and
<br />covers together with all vlork appurtenant thereto and necessary to
<br />:olnple.te the same in Oak I{noll Drive from Canyon Road to Hillside
<br />itoad, 10 Hill~ide Road from Oak Knoll Drive vlcsterly 235 feet, more
<br />():~ less, a:1d In easements to be acquired along th,e southerly' line of
<br />lands ~fClty and County of San Francisco (I-Ietch-I-Ietchy Right of Vlay)

<br />All of said work and improvements are to be constructed
<br />at the places and in the manner, and to the lines, grades, and
<br />elevations, as shown upon the plans, profiles and specifications
<br />made therefor and on file in the office of the City Engineer of
<br />Redwood City.
<br />
<br />Said contemplated work and improvements, in the opinion
<br />of said City Council, are of more than local or ordinary public
<br />benefit, and said Council does hereby make the cost and expenses
<br />of doing such work and improvements chargeable upon a District,
<br />which District said City Council declares to be the District
<br />benefited by said work and improvements and to be assessed to pay
<br />the entire cost and expenses thereof, and which Assessment District
<br />is wholly within the limits of said City of Redwood City, State
<br />of California, and is described in Exhibit TtAfI attached hereto
<br />and made a part hereof.
<br />
<br />There is excepted from said District all streets and all
<br />other public property in use in the performance of a public
<br />function, other than Assessment Parcels numbered 1, 2, 3A, 4 and
<br />5A, as said assessment parcels are shown on the plat entitled
<br />"Assessment Diagram Oak Knoll - Canyon Lane & Vicinity Sewer
