C. SMITH COMPANY, San Mateo, California, is the <br /> <br />lowest responsible bidder and it is the intention and desire of <br /> <br />this Council to award said contract to L. C. Smith Company; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE: <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, <br /> <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />1. The bid of L. C. smith Company, in the total amount of <br /> <br />One Million Three Hundred-twenty Thousand Eight Hundred Seventy- <br /> <br />five and 35/100 Dollars ($l,320,875.35), more or less, computed <br /> <br />at the unit price quoted in bidder1s proposal, opened July 8, <br /> <br />1969, for the construction of certain public improvements, <br /> <br />including streets, water system facilities, sanitary sewers, and <br /> <br />storm drainage facilities, for Marlin Subdivision No.1, of <br /> <br />Redwood City General Improvement District No. 1-64, in accordance <br /> <br />with the plans and specifications therefor on file in the office <br /> <br />of the City Clerk, is hereby accepted, and said bidder is hereby <br /> <br />declared to be the lowest responsible bidder. <br /> <br />2. The City Manager is hereby authorized and directed to <br /> <br />enter into and execute on behalf of the City of Redwood City <br />
