<br />TO CONSTRUCT CERTAIN PUBLIC IMPROVEMENTS

<br />RESOLVED, by the Council of the City of Redwood City, that

<br />the public convenience and necessity require, and that it intends
<br />
<br />
<br />to order in accordance with the procedure set out in the Improve-
<br />
<br />ment Act of 1911 as embodied in the Streets and Highways Code of
<br />
<br />California, as amended, the following work to be done, acquisi-
<br />
<br />tions to be had and improvements to be made in and for said City,
<br />

<br />The improvenent or Bel Air Way, rrom the end of the existing street
<br />i~provements on Bel Air Way (approximately 125 feet from Seminole \vay)
<br />to its northerly terminus) by the construction and installation
<br />therein of tt.,ro-inch (2") asphaltic concrete surfacing of varying
<br />,.}'idth on a six-inch (6") crusher rock base) concrete curb and gu t ter;
<br />the raising and lo\vering of all manholes, valves, clean-outs, etc., to
<br />conform to the grades established herein; the excavation and filling of
<br />Daterial and the grading of the roadway section; the 'removal of all
<br />obstruct~ons in the line of work; the construction of all necessary
<br />appurtenances to any of the foregoing work.

<br />The construction and installation of a storm drainage system complete
<br />in place, including catch basins, storm drain conduits, and necessary
<br />removal of existing storm drain conduits and inlets, and the
<br />construction of all necessary appurtenances thereto.
