S11/ RESOLUTION AWARDING CONTRACT FOR CONSTRUCTION OF LANDSCAPE PROJECT, NEIGHBORHOOD PARK-I, REDWOOD SHORES SUBDIVISION NO.1, FOR REDWOOD CITY GENERAL IMPROVEMENT DISTRICT NO. 1-64: AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF CONTRACT FOR SAID WORK: AND, DIRECTING RETURN OF SECURITY DEPOSIT WHEREAS, pursuant to Resolution No. 5800 adopted October 7, 1968, the city Clerk called for bids for the construction of the landscape project for Neighborhood Park-I, Redwood Shores Subdivision No.1, for Redwood City General Improvement District No. 1-64: and WHEREAS, pursuant to said call bids were received and filed with the City Clerk: and WHEREAS, RUDOLPH WATSON, INC., of Redwood City, California, is the lowest responsible bidder and it is the intention and desire of this Council to award said contract to Rudolph Watson, Inc. : NOW, THEREFORE: BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, AS FOLLOWS: 1. The bid of RUDOLPH WATSON, INC., in the total amount of One Hundred Twenty-Six Thousand Four Hundred Thirty-Six and 75/100 Dollars ($126,436.75), more or less, computed at the unit prices quoted in bidder's proposal opened October 30, 1968, in Bid Schedule A consisting of bid item A-I and Bid Schedule E consist- ing of bid items E-l through E-lS, plus additive Alternate Bid Items E-l6, E-18, E-l9 and A-2, for the construction of landscape project for Neighborhood Park-I, Redwood Shores Subdivision No.1, for Redwood City General Improvement District No. 1-64, in accord- ance with plans and specifications therefor on file in the office of the City Clerk, is hereby accepted and said bidder is hereby declared to the the lowest responsible bidder.
