<br />~ ~ ~.: <br />,a <br /> <br />[;- .... <br /> <br />DES:al 10/11/68 <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />ODf"r.~.l !'.L <br />~f;:bh~J!\ <br /> <br />RES 0 L UTI 0 N <br /> <br />~ <br /> <br />OCT 28 18 <br /> <br />N O. <br /> <br />RESOLUTION OF INTENTION TO ABANDON PORTIONS OF PUBLIC <br />STREETS IN ACCORDN~CE WITH PART 3 OF DIVISION 9, <br />STREETS AND HIGffivAYS CODE OF THE STATE OF CALIFORNIA; <br />SETTING TIME M~D PLACE FOR HEARING ALL PERSONS INTER- <br />ESTED IN OR OBJECTING TO THE PROPOSED VACATION; AND, <br />ORDERING POSTING OF NOTICE OF SUCH PROPOSED VACATION <br /> <br />vrnEREAS, portions of Charter, Chew and Manzanita Streets in <br /> <br />the City of Redwood city, dedicated as public~.streetsare not <br /> <br />needed for present or prospective street purposes; and <br /> <br />~1HEREAS, the Council of the city of Redwood city intends <br /> <br />to vacate and abandon said portions of Charter, Chew and Manzanita <br /> <br />Streets pursuant to the provisions of Part 3 of'Division 9 of the <br /> <br />Streets and Highways Code: <br /> <br />NO~V', THEREFORE; <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, <br /> <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />1. The City council hereby declares its intention to <br /> <br />vacate portions of Charter, Chew and Manzanita Streets, as herein- <br /> <br />after described, and elects to proceed with such vacation and <br /> <br />abandonment pursuant to the provisions of Part 3 of Division 9 <br /> <br />of the Streets' and Highways Code. <br /> <br />2.
