<br />~.- <br /> <br />'. <br /> <br />DES:a1 <br /> <br />10/ll/68 <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />RE~OLUT.!ON <br /> <br />OR/Glft/AL' <br />a.. r-lJ I'J .., OCT 21 '6") <br />NO.~ <br /> <br />RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING EXCHANGE OF REAL PROPERTY <br />INTERESTS IN THE VICINITY OF LOT 29, BLOCK 16, <br />STERLING HIGHLANDS NO.4, AND .,LOT 29, BLOCK l3, <br />WOODSIDE TERRACE NO. 5 <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City of Redwood City has heretofore acquired a <br /> <br />certain public utilities and storm drainage easement hereinafter <br /> <br />described in paragraph 2 below; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the above mentioned City-owned easement is no longer <br /> <br />required by the City of Redwood City for municipal purposes; <br /> <br />provided that the City acquire the easement described in para- <br /> <br />graph 3 below: and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City of Redwood City proposes to quitclaim its <br /> <br />interests in the easement described in paragraph 2 below to <br /> <br />FLOYD W. RICHARDSON <br /> <br />, <br /> <br />owner(s) of that certain real property hereinafter described in <br /> <br />paragraph 3 below, in exchange for conveyance to the City of <br /> <br />the real property interests described in said paragraph 3: and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the owner(s) of those lands and easements have <br /> <br />indicated their willingness to exchange said lands and easements <br /> <br />for the lands and easements hereinabove mentioned: and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Assessor of the City of Redwood city has, pur- <br />suant to the provisions of subdivision (h) of Section 3-l/2 of <br /> <br />the Charter of the City of Redwood City, made an appraisal of all <br /> <br />property included within the exchange and has found that the <br /> <br />value of the property to be received by the City equals the value <br /> <br />of the property to be disposed of: <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE: <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, <br /> <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />l. That this Council hereby finds that the value of the <br /> <br />property interests described hereinbelow to be received by the <br /> <br />City of Redwood City is equal to or greater than the value of <br />
