P-1350 <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING SUBMITTAL OF AN APPLICATION <br /> FOR A GRANT FROM THE DEPARTMENT OF BOATING AND <br /> WATERWAYS FOR THE REPAIR AND MODIFICATION OF THE <br /> REDWOOD CITY YACHT HARBOR LAUNCHING RAMP <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Section 72.5 of the Harbors and Navigation Code <br /> provides that the Department of Boating and Waterways of the State <br /> of California (the "Department") may grant funds to a local public <br /> agency for the construction and development of small craft <br /> launching facilities; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, pursuant to said section the City of Redwood City, <br />acting by and through its Board of Port Commissioners, desires to <br />apply for a grant from the Department in an amount not to exceed <br />the sum of $5,000 for the repair and modification of the Redwood <br />City Yacht Habor Launching Facility; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, there has been presented to, and reviewed by this <br />Board, an application from the Department for said purpose and <br />this Board desires to authorize the submittal thereof to the <br />Department; <br /> <br /> NOW, THEREFORE; <br /> <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF PORT COMMISSIONERS OF THE CITY <br />OF REDWOOD CITY AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br /> 1) The Port Executive Director (Port Manager) is hereby <br />authorized and directed to file an application for a grant from <br />the Department of Boating and Waterways in an amount not to exceed <br />$5,000; and ' <br /> <br /> 2) That certain agreement between the City of Redwood City, <br />acting by and through its Board of Port Commissioners, and the <br /> <br /> <br />
