P-1305 <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION APPROVING ASSIGNMENT OF PERMIT FOR SEAPORT <br /> CENTRE PROJECT <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, pursuant to Resolution No. P-114, adopted August <br />23, 1984 by this Board, a permit ("Permit") was issued under <br />Section 49 of the Charter of the City of Redwood City to Seaport <br />Centre Venture ("Seaport"), a California general partnership, for <br />the construction, installation, and improvement of a project <br />within the 'Port Area of the City of Redwood City (as said Area is <br />defined in Section 50 of the Charter of the City of Redwood <br />City); and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Lincoln Property Company N. C., Inc., a Texas <br />corporation ("Lincoln") acquired all of the rights of Seaport in <br />and to all that certain real property described in Exhibit "A", <br />attached hereto and by this reference incorporated herein (the <br />"Property"); and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the Property is both subject to the aforementioned <br />Permit and also relates to a "Phase III Development" of the <br />over-all project authorized by the Permit; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Lincoln and Seaport desire to assign their <br />respective Phase III Permit rights to Metropolitan Life Insurance <br />Company, a New York corporation ("Metropolitan"); and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, there has been presented to, and reviewed by this <br />Board an assignment document dated October 25, 1988 by and among <br />Lincoln, Seaport, and Metropolitan effectuating said assignments; <br />NOW, THEREFORE; <br /> <br /> <br />
