REG:yc:6/27/60-7 RES 0 L UTI 0 N N o. 3130 ---------- RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING EXCEPTION TO CERTAIN PRO- VISIONS OF ORDINANCE NO. 631, BEING THE SUB- DIVISION ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY WHEREAS, pursuant to Section 7 of Ordinance No. 631, the Subdivision Ordinance of the City of Redwood City, the Planning Commission has received and recommended approval of the application of Irene Berni for an exception to the provisions of Section 5.31 of said Ordinance No. 631 to allow the subdivision of the herein- after described property into two lots, each of which would have an area of 5,000 square feet instead of the required 6,000 square feet; and WHEREAS, the property for which application to subdivide is made is all that certain real property situate in the City or Redwood City, County of San Mateo, State of California, located on Nueva Avenue and also having frontage on Orchard Avenue, des- cribed as follows: The Southeasterly one-half front and rear measurements of Lot 26, as shown on that certain map entitled ttMap of Lee. Tract, Redwood City, Cal., a Portion of McEvoy Ranch," and. WHEREAS, said applicant has submitted a map of the proposed subdivision in accordance with the provisions of Ordinance No. 631 and said map has been recommended for approval by the Planning Cow~ssion and has been reviewed by the Council of the City of Redwood City; and WHEREAS, the Planning Commission has found and reported to this Council that exceptional circumstances and conditions exist which affect said property; that the exception applied for is necessary for the preservation and enjoyment of substantial property rights of petitioner; and that the granting of said exception will not be detrimental to the public welfare or adversely affect other property in the neighborhood; and
