A EG:yc:6 /2/60 -7 RESOLUTION NO. 3 RESOLUTION GRANTING CONSENT OF CITY OF REDWOOD CITY TO TH7 COUNTY OF SAY MATEO TO UNDERTAKE AND COMPLETE PROCEEDINGS FOR TEE ACUISITION AND CONSTRUCTION OF PUBLIC IMPROVEMENTS ON PORTIONS OF BAY ROAD AND SPRING STREET IN THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY AND TO PROVIDE TEIAT THE COST THEREOF SHALL BE ASSESSED UPON THE ASSESST ;NT DISTRICT BENEFITED THEREBY PURSUANT TO APPROPRIATE SPECIAL ASSESSEENT AND ASSESSMENT BOND ACTS WHEREAS, the Board of Supervisors of the County of San Mateo proposes to acquire and construct the following improvements: (a) The improvement of Bay Road between Fifth Avenue and a point 200 feet, more or less, northwesterly of Second Avenue, by grading and the installation of sub -base as required, pavement, curbs and gutters. (b) The improvement of Spring Street and its easterly exten- sion from Fifth Avenue to a point 150 feet, more or less, north- westerly of Second Avenue, Second Avenue between Bay Road and a point 150 feet, more or less, southwesterly of Spring Street, the northerly extensions of Third Avenue and Fourth Avenue between the easterly extension of Spring Street and their present northerly termini, by grading, installation of sub -base and pavement as required, curbs, gutters and sidewalks. (c) The improvement of the northwest one -half of Fifth Avenue from Bay Road to a point 150 feet, more or less, southwesterly of Spring Street, by grading, installation of sub -base and pavement as required to complete feathering into existing pavement, and the construction of curbs, gutters and sidewalks. (d) The construction and installation of storm drainage fac- ilities including storm sewers along Fifth Avenue and Second Avenue between the existing storm sewer facilities in Bay Road to and across Spring Street, together with necessary catch basins and appurtenances.
