} r • 1 RESOLUTION NO. 3021 RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING ACQUISITION OF CERTAIN DESCRIBED PROPERTY FOR OFF- STREET PARKING PURPOSES, PARKING DISTRICT NO. 1, AUTHORIZING THE EXCHANGE OF CERTAIN CITY OWNED PROPERTY IN CONNECTION THEREWITH; AND, DIRECTING THE CITY CLERK TO GIVE PUBLIC NOTICE THEREOF. WHEREAS, in connection with the development of Parking District No. 1 of the City of Redwood City, the public in- terest and necessity require the acquisition for off - street parking purposes, of certain real property described herein, and situated within the boundaries of the above mentioned Parking District No. 1; and WHEREAS, in connection with the acquisition of such real property for such purposes, the public interest and necessity require the transfer of certain real property pre- sently owned by the City of Redwood City in exchange for certain of the above mentioned real property, to be acquired by City for such district; NOW, THEREFORE, be it resolved by the City Council of the City of Redwood City, as follows: 1. The Council hereby finds and determines that the public convenience and necessity require the acquisition of those cer- tain parcels of real property more particularly described in Exhibit "A ", attached hereto and made a part hereof, from RFT)WOOD CITY REALTY COMPANY, a California corporation, the owner thereof, for the sum of Seven Thousand Five Hundred Dollars ($7,500.00), and in exchange for those certain parcels of real property belonging to the City of Redwood City, described in Exhibit "B ", which exhibit is attached hereto and made a part hereof. An appraisal of all the parcels described in Exhibit "B ", having been made by the Assessor of the City of Redwood City, and a report of such appraisal having been filed with the Council, said report being to the effect that the value of the parcels described in Exhibit "B ", plus the sum of Seven Thousand -1-
