• REG:ye:2 /29/60 -7 R E S O L U T I O N NO. 2995 RESOLUTION OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY FINDI - _G AND DETERMINING THAT PROTEST TO THE PROPOSED ANNEXATION TO THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY OF CERTAIN UN- INHABITED TERRITORY DESIGNATED AS "BRESSO ANNEXATION" HAS NOT BEEN MADE BY OWNERS OF ONE -HALF OF THE VALUE OF PRIVATE PROPERTY WITHIN SUCH TERRITORY AS SHOWN BY THE LAST EQUALIZED ASSESSMENT ROLL, NOR BY THE OWNERS OF ONE -HALF OF THE VALUE OF PUBLICLY OWNED PROP- ERTY WITHIN SAID TERRITORY AS DETERMINED BY SAID COUNCIL BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY: WHEREAS, on the 4th day of January, 1960, the Council of the City of Redwood City adopted Resolution No. 2950, giving notice of, and declaring its intention to, initiate upon its own motion the annexation to the City of Redwood City of that certain ter - ritory designated as "Bresso Annexation "; and WHEREAS, this Council has received evidence showing, and has found, and again finds that a written description of the proposal to annex said territory to the City of Redwood City was filed with the Secretary of the Boundary Commission of San Mateo County, California, on September 25, 1959, and that said Boundary Commission has prepared, or caused to be prepared, a report on said proposed annexation as required by law, and that said Boundary Commission has approved the boundaries of said proposed annexation; and has received evidence showing and has found, and again finds, that the aforementioned action of the Council initiating the annexation of the herein described territory, upon its own motion, was not com- menced until after said written description of the proposal for said annexation was filed with the Secretary of the San Mateo County Boundary Commission, and until after said Commission made, or caused to be made, its report and approved said boundaries; and WHEREAS, this Council has further received evidence showing, and finds:
