P- 2123 <br /> RESOLUTION PROVIDING CERTAIN BENEFITS TO <br /> EMPLOYEES OF THE PORT OF REDWOOD CITY (POST <br /> EMPLOYMENT BENEFITS OTHER THAN PENSION) <br /> Whereas, the City of Redwood City, by and through its Board of Port <br /> Commissioners ("Port"), desires to adopt terms and conditions regarding the <br /> eligibility of Port employees for post employment benefits other than pension <br /> benefits. <br /> NOW THEREFORE, <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS OF THE <br /> PORT OF REDWOOD CITY, AS FOLLOWS: <br /> Section <br /> Definition <br /> Port Policy Regarding Post - Employment Benefits Other than Pension is <br /> hereby defined as reimbursement of medical insurance premiums to those who <br /> have retired directly from the Port, subject to the following eligibility requirements, <br /> exclusions, terms and conditions. <br /> Employee's Eligibility Requirements <br /> 1. Hire date must be on or before L,,ao //; and <br /> 2. Must be full time employee; and <br /> 3. 10 years or more of consecutive full time employmet'at the Port; and <br /> 4. Age 55 or older on date of retirement; and <br /> 5. Must not have been voluntarily or involuntarily terminated from <br /> employment at the Port prior to date of retirement; and <br /> 6. Must have been enrolled in Port's medical plan prior to retirement. <br /> All Eligibility Requirements above must be met in order to be eligible for <br /> reimbursement of medical insurance premiums upon retirement. <br /> Exclusions <br /> 1. Any person who has not met all of the Eligibility Requirements above. <br /> 2. Spouse and /or any /all other dependents. <br /> 3.
