CGM: y c: 1/29/71 <br /> ORIGINAL fEB I .,, <br /> R E S O L U T I ON NO. 4,41s"1 <br /> RESOLUTION AWARDING CONTRACT FOR 1970 -1971 MAINTENANCE <br /> PROGRAM FOR REDWOOD CITY GENERAL IMPROVEMENT DISTRICT <br /> NO. 1 -64; AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF CONTRACT FOR SAID <br /> WORK; AND DIRECTING RETURN OF SECURITY DEPOSIT <br /> WHEREAS, pursuant to Resolution No. 6440, adopted January 4, <br /> 1971, the City Clerk called for bids for the 1970 -1971 maintenance <br /> program for Redwood City General Improvement District No. 1 -64; and <br /> WHEREAS, pursuant to said call, bids were received and filed <br /> with the City Clerk; and <br /> WHEREAS, AAA CONSTRUCTION, INC., Menlo Park, California, is <br /> the lowest responsible bidder and it is the intention and desire <br /> of this Council to award said contract to AAA Construction, Inc.; <br /> NOW, THEREFORE; <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, <br /> AS FOLLOWS: <br /> 1. The bid of AAA Construction, Inc., in the total amount <br /> of Twenty -nine Thousand Two Hundred Fifty and No /100 Dollars <br /> ($29,250.00), more or less, computed at the unit prices quoted <br /> in bidder's proposal, dated January 19, 1971, for the 1970 -1971 <br /> maintenance program for Redwood City General Improvement District <br /> No. 1 -64 in the City of Redwood City, in accordance with the plans <br /> and specifications therefor on file in the office of the City <br /> Clerk, is hereby accepted and said bidder is hereby declared to <br /> be the lowest responsible bidder. <br /> 2. The City Manager is hereby authorized and directed to <br /> enter into and execute on behalf of the City of Redwood City that <br /> certain agreement entitled "Agreement - Redwood City General <br /> Improvement District No. 1 -64 - 1970 -1971 Maintenance Program," <br /> by and between the City of Redwood City and AAA Construction, Inc., <br /> for the performance of the aforesaid work in accordance with and <br />
