r <br /> 1 <br /> RESOLUTION NO. <br /> PROVIDING FOR THE ISSUANCE AND SALE OF $1,615,000 PRINCIPAL <br /> AMOUNT OF "REDWOOD CITY GENERAL IMPROVEMENT DISTRICT NO. 2 -65 <br /> 1966 WATER BONDS ", PRESCRIBING THE DATE AND FORM OF SAID <br /> BONDS AND OF THE COUPONS TO BE ATTACHED THERETO; FIXING THE <br /> MAXIMUM RATE OF INTEREST ON SAID BONDS AND PRESCRIBING THE <br /> MATURITIES THEREOF; AUTHORIZING THE EXECUTION OF SAID BONDS <br /> AND COUPONS; PROVIDING FOR THE LEVY OF A TAX TO PAY THE <br /> PRINCIPAL THEREOF AND INTEREST THEREON; AND DIRECTING NOTICE <br /> OF SALE OF SAID BONDS TO BE GIVEN. <br /> WHEREAS, all the requirements of law, including the <br /> Charter and the Ordinance hereinafter referred to, have been <br /> complied with in calling and holding the special bond elec- <br /> tion held in Redwood City General Improvement District No. <br /> 2 -65 (herein called the "District "), on June 8, 1965, at which <br /> election a measure to issue bonds of the District in the prin- <br /> cipal sum of $1,615,000 for the objects and purposes here- <br /> inafter stated were submitted to the voters of the District; <br /> and the Council of the City of Redwood City did duly and regu- <br /> larly canvass the returns of said election and did as the <br /> result of such canvass determine and declare, and do hereby <br /> certify, that said measure received at said election the <br /> affirmative vote of a majority of all of the voters voting <br /> on said measure at said election, and was thereby carried <br /> and adopted by said election, and the issuance of said bonds <br /> by the District was duly authorized, <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of <br /> the City of Redwood City,...as follows: <br /> 1 <br />
