· . · ' .SWC:sh 12/14/84 <br /> <br /> ORDINANCE NO. 1911 MAY 20 1985 <br /> <br /> ORDINANCE APPROVING AND ADOPTING AMENDMENT NO. 1 TO THE <br /> REDEVELOPMENT PLAN FOR REDEVELOPMENT PROJECT NO. 2 <br /> (GATEWAY SUB-AREA) <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, pursuant to Ordinance No. 1862, adopted July 19, <br /> 1982, the City Council approved and adopted the Redevelopment <br /> Plan for Redevelopment Project No. 2 in the City of Redwood City; <br /> and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the Agency has prepared an Amendment to the <br /> Redevelopment Plan for Redevelopment Project No. 2, for the <br /> purpose of adding territory to the Gateway Sub-Area; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the Planning Commission has reviewed the Amendment <br /> and found that the Amendment, which conforms to the Plan, <br /> conforms to the General Plan of the City of Redwood City, and has <br /> further recommended approval of the Amendment; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the Planning Commission has forwarded to the Agency <br /> its report and recommendation concerning the Amendment; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the EIR for the Redevelopment Plan, including the <br /> Gateway Sub-Area, was certified by the Planning Commission on May <br /> 18, 1982, in compliance with Public Resources Code ~21000-21174 <br /> (CEQA), and the Planning Director, with the concurrence of the <br /> Planning Commission, has determined that the proposed addition of <br /> <br /> property to the Gateway Sub-Area requires no further <br /> environmental study at this time; and <br /> WHEREAS, the Agency has submitted to this Council the <br /> Amendment No. 1 to the Redevelopment Plan for Redevelopment <br /> <br /> 1911 <br /> <br /> <br />
