RD-00-39 <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION OF THE REDEVELOPMENT AGENCY OF THE <br /> CITY OF REDWOOD CITY AUTHORIZING ACCEPTANCE OF <br /> DEED OF CONVEYANCE FROM THE CITY OF REDWOOD <br /> CITY; APPROVING AGREEMENT FOR THE CONVEYANCE OF <br /> REAL PROPERTY TO PENINSULA HABITAT FOR HUMANITY, <br /> INC., AUTHORIZING EXECUTION THEREOF AND <br /> AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF DEED OF CONVEYANCE <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the Redevelopment Agency of the City of Redwood City (the <br />"Agency") is the owner of certain real property located at Rolison Road and <br />Haven Avenue, in the City of Redwood City, California (the "Agency Properties), <br />and more fully described on Exhibit "A," attached hereto; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the City of Redwood City ("City") is the owner of certain real <br />property also located at located at Rolison Road and Haven Avenue, in the City <br />of Redwood City, (the City Properties"), and more fully described on Exhibit "B," <br />attached hereto; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Redwood City, by resolution, <br />authorized the transfer of the City Properties to the Agency; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the Agency desires to transfer the City Properties and the <br />Agency Properties (collectively, the "Properties") to Peninsula Habitat For <br />Humanity, Inc., a non profit corporation, to construct affordable ownership <br />housing on the Properties; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, there has been presented to and reviewed by the Board of <br />Directors of the Agency a deed of conveyance transferring ownership of the City <br />Properties to the Agency; and <br /> <br />F:~shar ed~R edwood~Council\ 1 <br />Reso-868 <br />FXS:fs <br />04/18/00 <br /> <br /> <br />
