DES:djk 0~21/95 (027/9) <br /> <br /> 0 R I G I N A L 4/10/95 <br /> <br /> ORDINANCE NO. 1130-293 <br /> <br /> ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTIONS 32.10 AND 45.3; DELETING <br /> SECTION 36.2 OF ORDINANCE NO. 1130, THE REDWOOD CITY <br /> ZONING ORDINANCE, AS AMENDED, RELATING TO ACCESSORY <br /> BUILDINGS, ARCHITECTURAL PERMITS AND FENCE PERMITS <br /> <br />THE COUNCIL OF REDWOOD CITY DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOW: <br />SECTION 1. Section 32.10 of Ordinance No. 1130, the Redwood <br />City Zoning Ordinance, as amended, adopted May 11, 1964, is <br />hereby amended to read as follows: <br /> <br /> "Section 32.10. Accessory Buildings. <br /> <br /> a. Accessory buildings may be constructed with, <br /> or subsequent to the construction of a main building in <br /> any R District. Where an accessory building is in any <br /> way connected at any point to a main building, it shall <br /> be made structurally a part of the main building, and <br /> shall comply in all respects with the requirements of <br /> this Ordinance applicable to a main building. In <br /> addition, no garage or carport space in a main or <br /> accessory building shall have its entrance located <br /> within 20 feet of any street line. <br /> <br /> b. Unless connected, as described above in <br /> Section 32.10a., an accessory building in any R <br /> District shall be located on the rear one-half of the <br /> lot, and at least 6 feet from any main building <br /> existing or under construction on the same lot, or any <br /> adjacent lot. Such accessory building may be located <br /> in the required rear yard setback, but shall not be <br /> located within 6 feet of any rear property line; and <br /> <br /> <br />
