RESOLUTION N . 12- <br />A RESOLUTION- OF THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF <br />REDWOOD CITY MAKING FINDINGS CONCERNING AN lNTIAL <br />STUDY WHICH WAS PREPARED IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE <br />CALIFORNIA ENVIRONMENTAL QUALITY ACT FOR 201 MARSHALL <br />STREET. <br />WHEREAS, F aintree Partners seeks to remove the existing two-story office <br />building at 201 Marshall Street, and to construct a new seven -level residential buildin <br />in its place which would contain 116 for -rent apartments, (the Project).; and <br />WHEREAS, EAS, on January 24, 2011 the city of Redwood rood city certified a <br />Programmed Environmental Impact Report for the City's Downtown Precise Plan; and <br />WHEREAS, EAS, Pursuant to the California Environmental Quality Act (CE QA) an <br />Initial Study IS was prepared to assess the potential impacts of the 201 Marshall <br />hall <br />Street project, the IS is attached hereto as Exhibit A; and <br />WHEREAS, The Pro Env Impact Report which was pre pared and <br />certified for the Downtown Precise Plan fully assessed the environmental impacts of the <br />Project; and <br />WHEREAS, EAS, the Project is within the scope of the previously approved Downtown <br />n <br />Precise Plan and is adequately described in the previously certified Downtown Precise <br />Plan Program EIR and the environmental analysis conducted in the. program <br />Environmental Impact Report for the Downtown Precise Plan did analyze and adopt <br />mitigation measures for all possible environmental impacts for this Project (Planned <br />Community Permit Application 1o. CPC2011 -02; and <br />WHEREAS, on January 10, 2012, the commission considered an Initial Study <br />checklist prepared by the City's Planning Division and its findings, the previously <br />certified Downtown Precise Plan Program EIl (State clearinghouse #2006052027), the <br />staff reports, oral and written, and testimony and materials presented by all those <br />wishing to be heard on this Projects at the noticed public hearing on this matter. <br />NOW THEREFORE, E, E IT RESOLVED BY THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF <br />THE CITY of REDWOOD OD CITY AS FOLLOWS: <br />1. Findin s: This Planning Commission hereby makes the following findings <br />with respect to CEA: <br />a.
