AGREEMENT <br /> COST SHARING AGREEMENT FOR BIKE IMPROVEMENTS ON SHOREWAY <br /> ROAD AND SKYWAY ROAD IN CONJUNCTION WITH THE CITY'S <br /> SHOREWAY-SKYWAY BIKE IMPROVEMENTS PROJECT. <br /> THIS AGREEMENT made and entered into this �day of , 2012, <br /> by and between the CITY OF SAN CARLOS, a political subdivision the Sta of California, <br /> ("San Carlos"), and the CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, Municipal Corporatio of the State of <br /> California ("Redwood City"). <br /> WITNESSETH: <br /> WHEREAS, Redwood City and San Carlos are desirous to instail bike improvements on <br /> portions of Shoreway Road and Skyway Road within the corporate limits of San Carlos and <br /> Redwood City; and <br /> WHEREAS, Redwood City has applied for and received $256,000 in Congestion <br /> Mitigation and Air Quality federal grant funds for the Shoreway-Skyway Bike Improvements <br /> Project; and <br /> WHEREAS, Congestion Mitigation and Air Quality federal grant funds will reimburse <br /> Redwood City up to 88.53% of eligible project costs, depending on actual project costs and staff <br /> time; and <br /> WHEREAS, Redwood City and San Carlos have agreed that any grant funds received <br /> by Redwood City shall be used to pay for project costs between the two cities in an amount <br /> which is proportionate to the cost of the work within each city. <br /> WHEREAS, Redwood City and San Carlos agree that Redwood City shall act as lead agency in <br /> the preparation of plans, specifications, construction administration, construction inspection, and <br /> related documents for the installation of bike improvements on Shoreway Road and Skyway <br /> Road within corporate limits of San Carlos; and <br /> DRAFT San Carlos 19800 -A77v/nGw20i2.o�i 1 SHOREWAY BIKE IMPROVEMENTS <br /> REV:01/27/12 <br />
