DES:djk ~/25/94 (099/32) <br /> 0 R I G I N A L 9/12/94 <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 12310 <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION ACCEPTING BID FOR PURCHASE OF SELECTED <br /> MATERIALS SAND, AGGREGATE AND FINES, FISCAL YEAR <br /> 1994-1995; AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF PURCHASE DOCUMENTS <br /> IN CONNECTION THEREWITH; AND DIRECTING RETURN OF <br /> SECURITY DEPOSIT <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, pursuant to Resolution No. 12266, adopted August 1, <br />1994, the City Clerk advertised for bids for the purchase of <br />selected materials - sand, aggregate and fines for public work <br />projects in the City of Redwood City; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, pursuant to said advertisement, one bid was <br />received for the furnishing of said materials and filed with the <br />City Clerk; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, R.S. Maltoni Trucking Company of Redwood City, <br />California, is the lowest responsible bidder and it is the <br />intention and desire of this Council to accept the bid of said <br />bidder; <br /> <br /> NOW, THEREFORE; <br /> <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br /> 1. The bid of R.S. Maltoni Trucking Company, in the amount <br />of Thirty-nine Thousand Five Hundred Thirty-eight and 31/100 <br />Dollars ($39,538.31), computed in accordance with said bidder's <br />proposal dated August 17, 1994, and in accordance with the <br />Contract Documents and Specifications therefor on file with the <br />Department of General Services, is hereby accepted and said <br />bidder is hereby found and declared to be the lowest responsible <br />bidder for the furnishing of said materials. <br /> <br /> <br />
