JAH: mg3 08/11/94 (1/40) <br /> <br /> ORIGINAL 8/15/94 <br /> <br /> R E S O L U T I O N N O. 12294 <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION DESIGNATING ADDITIONAL LANDS FOR INCLUSION <br /> IN SURVEY AREA ESTABLISHED BY RESOLUTION NO. 12189 <br /> PURSUANT TO COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT LAW <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Article 2, Chapter 4, Part 1, Division 24 of the <br />Health and Safety Code, a portion of the Community Redevelopment <br />Law, grants authority to a legislative body by resolution, to <br />designate an area within a city as a survey area, for the purpose <br />of studying said area to determine if a redevelopment project or <br />projects within said area is or are feasible; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, pursuant to Resolution No. 12189, adopted May 23, <br />1994, this Council found and determined that the area of the City <br />of Redwood City described in said resolution required study to <br />determine if a redevelopment project or projects within said area <br />would be feasible; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the territory hereinafter referenced should be <br />included in the aforesaid Survey Area; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, said additional territory is so designated on <br />Exhibit "A" attached hereto and incorporated herein by this <br />reference; <br /> <br /> NOW, THEREFORE; <br /> <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br /> 1. That certain area within the City of Redwood City, the <br />boundaries of which (including the above-referenced additional <br />lands) are more specifically described in Exhibit A, is hereby <br />designated as a survey area ("Expanded Survey Area") pursuant to <br />Section 33310 of the California Health & Safety Code. <br /> <br /> <br />
