Parks, Recreation and 1400 Roosevelt Avenue <br /> Community Services r1� Redwood City, California 94061 <br /> Department �� �� Phone (650) 780-7250 <br /> �� FAX (650) 368-5087 <br /> www.redwoodcity.org <br /> July 12, 2012 <br /> Steve Carlton <br /> Peninsula Symphony Associat(on <br /> 146 Main Street, Suite 102 <br /> Los Altos, Californta 94022 <br /> Dear Mr. Carlton, <br /> The Redwood City Civic Cultural Commission hereby enters into an agreement with <br /> the Peninsula Symphony Association to provide funding for four concerts to be held <br /> the Fox Theater during your 2012-2013 Season and funding for your Bridges to <br /> Music Program. This agreement is subject to the following terms and conditions and <br /> shall become effective upon acceptance thereof by the Peninsula Symphony <br /> Association and Steve Cariton (hereinafter called "Contractor"). <br /> 1. SERVICES OF CONTRACTOR. <br /> Contractor shall: <br /> a. Receive and coordinate expenditure of funds as determined for said <br /> organization; <br /> b. Manage and coordinate all entertainment, vendors, permits, sound systems, and <br /> other logistics considerations for the said events; <br /> c. Coordinate all rental and use arrangements with the management of the facilities <br /> which the organtzation is using; <br /> d. Supply any equipment needed by the organization, vendors or entertainers; <br /> e. List the Redwood City Civic Cultural Commission as a co-sponsor of the event. <br /> The Civic Cultural Commission MUST be listed on all publicity pieces, flyers, and <br /> press releases. The Civic Cultural Commission must receive copies of all <br /> publicity materials released by the Peninsula Symphony Association regarding <br /> this event; <br /> f. Provide passes for all seven Cultural Commissioners to attend the funded event. <br /> If the event is offered at no charge, contractor will provide invitation or flyer to <br /> Commissioners to remind them of event location, time and date; <br /> g. After the event has taken place, the Contractor must submit a written report <br /> regarding the attendance at the performances and response to the program, as <br /> well as a financial statement showing how the grant funds were spent; <br /> h. Use granted funds for the purpose of funding of four concerts at the Fox Theater <br /> and funding for your Bridges to Music Program. Money not used for this purpose <br /> by ]une 30, 20l3 must be returned to the Civic Culturai Commission. <br />
