The overarching goal of the partnership is <br /> to work together in order to promote mutual benefits for iirunigrants and their receiving <br /> communities that promote enhanced civic participation for newcomers and improved <br /> economic mobility. The partners will collaborate in ways that are mutually supportive <br /> of each entity's organizational mission and goals, and will work towards the <br /> accomplishment of the objectives defined in their Silicon Valley Community Foundation <br /> funded projects. <br /> PCRC will be responsible for: <br /> • Provide primary administrative supervision of the Community Engagement <br /> Specialist (CES), <br /> • Provide content specific training and overaIl professional development <br /> opportunities, <br /> • Provide facilitation,coordination, training,and project management for objectives <br /> outlined in the scope of work/work-plan for the Community Engagement Specialist, <br /> • Participate in Silicon Valley Community Foundation cohort learning community, <br /> • Provide leadership in the development of any progress reports and grant proposals <br /> to funders <br /> • Connect Community Engagement(CE) activities other PCRC programming and <br /> other county and state initiatives, <br /> • Help the CES to develop knowledge of and compliance with agency policies, <br /> procedures and protocols and ensure the CES receives and understands appropriate <br /> benefits and salaries, <br /> � Co-develop work-plan with Executive Director of Redwood City 2020 (RWC2020), <br /> and San Mateo County Sheriff's Office C.A.R.O.N. Program(CARON), <br /> • Represent positive collaboration at relevant county and city events, <br /> • Integrate community engagement services across PCRC system and programs, <br /> • Advocate for community-based work at various city and county policy bodies and <br /> among current and future grant-makers, <br /> • Lead professional evaluation of Community Engagement Specialist,with input from <br /> partners, <br /> • Coordinate hiring of staff and make final staffing decisions in partnership with the <br /> collaborating Executive Directors, <br /> • Provide program evaluation and budget data as needed to fulfill grant and <br /> evaluation requirements, <br /> • Communicate effectively with partner agencies and leads as the partnership evolves. <br /> 1 <br />
