RESOLUTI�N NO. 13-02 <br /> A RESOLUTION OF THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF <br /> REDWOOD CITY RECOMMENDING THAT THE CITY COUNCIL OF <br /> THE CITY OF REDWOOD CiTY ADOPT A ZONING ORDINANCE <br /> AMENDMENT ESTABLISHING THE MIXED-USE NEIGHBORHO�D <br /> DISTRICT UNDER ARTICLE 54, ESTABLISHING 7HE MIXED-USE <br /> ��VEIWORK DISTRICT UNDER ARTICLE 55, ESTABLISHING THE <br /> LIGHT INDUSTRIAL INCUBATOR DISTR[CT BY ADDING ARTICLE <br /> 17A, ESTABLISHING THE EMERGENCY SHELT�R COMBINING <br /> DISTRICT BY AMENDING ARTfCLE 25, MODIFYING THE <br /> COMMERCIAL PARK DISTRICT UNDER ARTICLE 16, REPEALING <br /> ARTICLE 1fiA IN ITS ENTIRETY, MODIFYING THE COMMERCIAL <br /> OFFICE DISTRICT UNDER ARTICLE 29, AND MAKING REVISI�NS TO <br /> ARTICLES 2, 3, 25, 30, 31, AND fi0 <br /> WHEREAS, on October 11, 2010, the City Council of the City of Redwood City <br /> ("City Council"') adopted the new Redwood City Ge�eral Plan; and <br /> WHEREAS, the General Plan contempiated the establishment of a Mixed-Use <br /> Neighborhood Zoning District, a Mixed-Use Live Work District, A Light Industrial <br /> Incubator District, an Emergency Shelter Combining District, and a Commercial Office <br /> ProfessionallTechnology District; and <br /> WHEREAS, the proposed Comprehensi�e 2013 Zoning Ordinance A�nendment <br /> is comprised of: (a) establishment ot Article 54 as the Mixed-Use Neighborhood Zoning <br /> District, (b) establishment of Article 55 as the Mixed-Use Li�elWork Zoning District, {c) <br /> addition of Article 17A as the Light Industrial �ncubator Zoning District, (d) amendment <br /> of Article 25 to establish the Emergency Shelter Combining DEStrict, (e) amendment of <br /> Article '!6 to substantially modify the Commercial Park Zoning District, (f� repeal of <br /> Article 16A in its entirety, (g) amendment of Article 29 to substantially modify the <br /> Commercial Office Zonir�g District, and (g} revisions to Articles 2, 3, 25, 30, 31, and 60; <br /> and <br /> WHEREAS, a notice of public hearing on the Zoning Ordinance Amendment was <br /> mailed to all praperties within a 300-foot radius of the area affected by the Zoning <br /> Qrdinance Amendment and duly pubfished in the Daily News 10 days prior to the public <br /> hearing; and <br /> WHEREAS, on January 29 and February 5, 2013, the Planning Commission held <br /> a public hear�ng on the proposed Comprehensive 2013 Zoning Ordinance Amendment; <br /> and <br /> ATTY/RE50.2824IZON�NG ORDINANCE AMENDMENT RE50,TEXT 8�MAPS <br /> REV:02-Oi-13 VR <br /> Page 1 of 87 <br />
