REG:yc :2/29/60-7 ORDI NANCE N0. 962 AN ORDINANCE OF mHE CITY OF RED1r700D CITY APPROVSRTG Th'E A.NN�XATION TO THE CITY QF REDWQOD CITY OF CERTAIN UNINHABITED TERRITORY DESIGNATED t'BRESSO ANNEXP,TION,t' AI�TD HEREIN DESCRISED, .AND HEREIN ANNEXING SAID TER- RITORY TO SAID CITY OF REDWOOD CI�Y THE COUNCIL OF REDWOOD CITY DOES ORDIAN A5 FOI�OWS: WHEREAS, on the 4th day of January, 1960, the Council of the City of Redwood City adopted Resolution No. 2950 givin� notice of� and deelaring its intention to, initiate upon its own motion proceedings to annex to the City of Redwood City all of the� ter- ritory designated as "Bresso Annexation"; and 1n1��REAS, this Council has received evidence showing, and has found, and again finds, that a written description of the proposal to annex said territory to the City of Redwood City was filed with the Secretary of the Boundary Commission of San Nlateo County, California, on September 25, 1�59, and that said �oundary Commission has prepared, or caused to be prepared, a report on said annexation proposal as required by law, and trat said Boundary Commission has �proved the boundaries of said proposed annexa- tion; and has received evidence showing, and has found, and again finds, that the aforementioned action of the Council initiating the annexation of the herein described territory, upon its own motion, was not co�enced until after said written description of the proposal for said annexation was file d with the Secretary of tr e San Mat e o C ounty Boundary C orr�r�i.s s ion, and unti 1 af te r s ai d Corrnnission made, or caused to be made, its report and approved said boundaries; and WHEREAS, this Council has further received evidenee showing, and has found, and again f inds : (1) That said territory is situate 3.srnnediately adjacent to � and touches and is contiguous to the boundaries of the City of Redwood City; and
