- * <br /> �r <br /> � ORIGINAL <br /> AGREEMENT <br /> COST SHARING AGREEMENT FOR THE ADNSTMENT OF CITY OF <br /> REDWOOD CITY-OWNED FACILITIES ON PORTIONS OF SPRING <br /> STREET IN THE NORTH FAIIZ OAKS AREA AND LAKEMEAD WAY <br /> IN THE EMERALD LAKE HILLS AREA IN CONJUNCTION WITH <br /> THE RESURFACING OF VARIOUS STREETS IN THE MOSS BEACH, <br /> PRINCETON BY-THE SEA, EL GRANADA, EMERALD LAKE HIIrLS, <br /> SEQUOIA TRACT, WEST MENLO AND NORTH FAII2 OAKS AREAS <br /> OF UNINCORPORATED SAN MATEO COUNTY PROJECT [PROJECT <br /> NO.RT211,PROJECT FILE NO.E4904] <br /> �� <br /> THIS AGREEMENT,made and entered into this � � day <br /> of �J v L� , 2013, by and between the COUNTY OF SAN MATEO, a political <br /> subdivision of the State of California, hereinafter called "County", and the CITY OF <br /> REDWOOD CITY hereinafter called"City". <br /> WITNESSETH: <br /> WHEREAS, it is estimated that a total of seventy-five (75) City-owned water valve <br /> boxes (single valve, blow-off valves and cathodic protection) on Douglas Avenue, Spring Street, <br /> and Lakemead Way will require adjustment to the new grade of the improved roads (Douglas <br /> Avenue, Spring Street and Lakemead Way); and <br /> WHEREAS,City has requested for the County to include, in its resurfacing contract, the <br /> adjustment of said City-owned water valve boxes (single valve, blow-off valves and cathodic <br /> protection) to the new grade of the improved roads (Douglas Avenue, Spring Street and <br /> Lakemead Way); <br /> NOW,THEREFORE,IT IS AGREED AS FOLLOWS: <br /> 1. County will include in its contract, for the above-described project, contract items <br /> for the adjustment of City-owned water valve boxes (single valve, blow-off valves and cathodic <br /> protection box) on Douglas Avenue, Spring Street and Lakemead Way.
