Chapter 30 (commencing with Article I) of the <br /> Code of the City of Redwood City is hereby repealed. <br /> SECTION 2 . Chapter 30 (commencing with Article I) is hereby <br /> added to the Code of the City of Redwood City to read as follows : <br /> "Article I . General <br /> "Section 30. 1. Purpose of Procedures , Policy. The <br /> procedures hereinafter set forth in this chapter for <br /> processing subdivisions of land are intended to ensure <br /> that the resultant subdivision design will be consistent <br /> with the spirit and intent of the Subdivision Map Act; the <br /> goals, principles and policies of the Redwood City General <br /> Plan; and that it will promote the public well-being. These <br /> procedures are also intended to facilitate implementation <br /> of the Planned Development provisions of the Zoning Ordinance . <br /> It is the policy of the City of Redwood City to require <br /> preparation of maps for all divisions of land or redivisions <br /> of land as required by the Subdivision Map Act (commencing <br /> with Section 66410 of the Gov ' t. C. ) and as required by this <br /> chapter in implementation thereof , and to require the recording <br /> thereof with the County Recorder. <br /> • <br /> "Section 30 . 2. Citation and Authority. This chapter <br /> is adopted to supplement and implement the Subdivision Map <br /> Act and may be cited as the 'Subdivision Ordinance of the City <br /> of Redwood City.
