A <br /> ' ����'■_�� <br /> MEMQRANDUM OF UNDERSTANDING BETWEEN <br /> NOTRE DAME MISSION VOLUNTEERS, <br /> REDWOOD CITY 2020, AND CITY OF REDW40D CITY <br /> ACTING AS FISCAL AGENT FOR REDWOOD CITY 2020 <br />� THIS MEMORANDUM OF UNDERSTANDING (" U") is made and entered <br /> into as af the day of 201 by and between N4TRE <br /> DAME MISSION UNTEERS-A E ICORPS ("No e Dame") a nonprofit <br /> organization, REDWOOD CITY 2020 collaboration co prised of eight partners, <br /> including City of Redwood City, Redwood City Elementary School District, Sequoia <br /> Union High Schooi District, County of San Mateo (Health System and Human <br /> Services Agency), Sequoia Healthcare District, John W. Gardner Center for Youth <br /> and their Communities—Stanford University, Kaiser PeRnanente, and First 5 of San <br /> Ma#eo County) and CITY OF REDW04D CITY ("Cii�') Acting as Fiscal Agent for <br /> Redwood City 2020. Collectively, Notre Dame, Redwood City 2020, and City are <br /> hereinafter referred to as the "Parties." <br /> SUBJECT: Redwood City 2020's funding of one Notre Dame Mission <br /> Volunteers-AmeriCorps member to provide services at the Sequoia High School <br /> Teen Resource Center. <br /> RECITALS <br /> A. Redwood City 2020 is a Community Collaborative that coordinates the <br /> delivery of services to children, youth and families living in the City of Redwood City <br /> and North Fair Oaks, an unincorporated area adjacent to Redwood City. Redwood <br /> City 2020 is made up of eight partners, including City of Redwood City, Redwood <br /> City Elementary School District, Sequoia Union High Sehool District, County of San <br /> Mateo (Health System and Human Services Agency), Sequoia Healthcare District, <br /> John W. Gardner Center for Youth and their Communities — Stanford University, <br /> Kaiser Permanente, and First 5 of San Mateo County to provide leadership and <br /> oversight necessary to develop a coordinated approach to strengthen academic and <br /> social outcomes for children and youth living within the attendance area of the <br /> Redwood City School District and provide valuable resources to families so they can <br /> be successful primary caregivers to their children. <br /> B. City serves as fiscal agent for Redwood City 2020 and as such <br /> contracts for services required by Redwood City 2020. <br /> C. Redwood City 2020 desires to collaborate with Notre Dame to provide <br /> funding for one Notre Dame Mission Volunteers-AmeriCorps member to provide <br /> services at the Sequoia High School's Sequoia Teen Resource Center. <br /> D. The Parties specifically acknowledge and agree that the Notre Dame <br /> Mission Volunteers-AmeriCorps member is not an employee of the City of Redwood <br /> City or Redwaod City 2020 and is not entitled to, and does not obtain, any rights, <br /> privileges or benefits as those conferred upon Redwood City employees. <br /> REV:03-06-14 MLG <br /> Page 1 of 5 <br /> ATTY/AGR.2014.026/Americorps 1314 <br />
