. <br /> CGM:sw:l/19/78 <br /> Qt'lGI�lAI� <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 7986 JAN. 23, 1978 <br /> RESOLUTION AWARDING CONTRACT FOR FURNISHING OF ONE <br /> TRACTOR WITH LOADER AND BACKHOE FOR THE CITY OF <br /> REDWOOD CITY; REJECTING ALL OTHER BIDS RECEIVED; <br /> AND AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF AGREEMENT FOR THE <br /> FURNISHING THEREOF ` <br /> WHEREAS, pursuant to Resolution No. 7950, adopted•y <br /> December 12, 1977 , the City Clerk called for bids for the <br /> furnishing of one tractor with loader and backhoe to be used <br /> by the City of Redwood City for municipal purposes; and <br /> WHEREAS, pursuant to said call, bids were received and <br /> filed with the City Clerk for the furnishing of said equipment; <br /> and <br /> WHEREAS, Case Power and Equipment, San Jose, California, <br /> is the lowest responsible bidder for the furnishing of said <br /> equipment, and it is the intention and desire of this Council to <br /> award said bid to Case Power and Equipment, to waive any infor- <br /> mality in the bid of the above-mentioned bidder, and to reject <br /> any and all other bids received for said equipment; <br /> NOW, THEREFORE; <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, <br /> AS FOLLOWS: <br /> 1. The bid of Case Power and Equipment in the total sum of <br /> Twenty Thousand Five Hundred Ninety-eight and 98/100 Dollars <br /> ($20,598. 98) in accordance with bidder' s proposal dated <br /> January 9, 1978 , for the furnishing of one tractor with loader <br /> and backhoe (Case S80-C Loader/Backhoe) , is hereby accepted and <br /> said bidder is hereby found and declared to be the lowest <br /> responsible bidder for said equipment. <br /> 2.
