<br /> CGM:dp:l/19/78 <br /> O�iGi�A�, <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 7984 Jan 23, 1978 � <br /> RESOLUTION AWARDING CONTRACT FOR FURNISHING OF ONE STREET <br /> SWEEPER FOR THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY; REJECTING ALL OTHER <br /> BIDS RECEIVED; AND AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF AGREEMENT FOR <br /> THE FURNISHING THEREOF <br /> WHEREAS , pursuant to Resolution No. 7949 , adopted December 12 , <br /> 1977 , the City Clerk called for bids for the furnishing of one <br /> street sweeper to be used by the City of Redwood City for <br /> municipal purposes; and <br /> WHEREAS , pursuant to said call, bids were received and filed <br /> with the City Clerk for the furnishing of said equipment; and <br /> WHEREAS , NIXON-EGLI EQUIPMENT COMPANY, INC. , Hayward, <br /> California, is the lowest responsible bidder for the furnishing <br /> of said equipment, and it is the intention and desire of this <br /> Council to award said bid to Nixon-Egli Equipment Company, Inc. , <br /> to waive any informality in the bid of the above mentioned bidder, <br /> and to reject any and all other bids received for said equipment; <br /> NOW, THEREFORE; <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, <br /> AS FOLLOWS : <br /> 1. The bid of Nixon-Egli Equipment Company, Inc. , in the <br /> total sum of Thirty-nine Thousand Thirty-eight and 54/100 Dollars <br /> ($39 ,038. 54) in accordance with bidder's proposal dated <br /> January 9 , 1978 , for the furnishing of one street sweeper, <br /> (Mobil Model 2TE-3) , is hereby accepted and said bidder is <br /> hereby found and declared to be the lowest responsible bidder <br /> for said equipment. <br /> 2. Any informalities in the bid mentioned in paragraph 1 <br /> hereof are waived. <br /> 7' 9 � 4 <br />
