DES:yc:2/23/68 <br />RE SOLUTION NO. 56.2 <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING PLANS AND SPECIFICATIONS FOR <br />THE CONSTRUCTION OF THE FARM HILL BOULEVARD - NOB <br />HILL ROAD AREA SUBDRAINAGE PROJECT IN THE CITY OF <br />REDWOOD CITY; AUTHORIZING CITY CLERK TO CALL FOR <br />BIDS THEREFOR; AND ESTABLISHING CERTAIN CONDITIONS <br />OF AWARD OF BID THEREOF <br />WHEREAS, there have been presented to this Council certain <br />plans and specifications for the construction of the Farm Hill <br />Boulevard - Nob Hill Road Area Subdrainage Project in the City <br />of Redwood City; and <br />WHEREAS, said plans and specifications have been prepared <br />in furtherance of policies established by Resolution No. 5259, <br />adopted January 23, 1967 (entitled "Resolution Authorizing <br />Acceptance of Deeds and Execution of Releases, Nob Hill Road"), <br />whereby City signified its willingness to enter into a certain <br />compromise proposal described in said resolution; and <br />WHEREAS, this Council desires to signify its continued <br />willingness to enter into a compromise proposal in accordance <br />with the general spirit of Resolution No. 5259, and in so doing <br />desires to approve the above mentioned plans and specifications, <br />but to condition the award of bid for the construction of the <br />improvements provided for therein in order to effectuate the <br />above mentioned compromise; <br />NOW, THEREFORE; <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br />1. Those certain plans entitled "Farm Hill Blvd. -Nob Hill <br />Rd. Area Subdrainage Project," and those certain specifications <br />entitled "General Specifications and Special Provisions for the <br />Construction of the Farm Hill Blvd. - Nob Hill Rd. Area Subdrainage <br />Project in the City of Redwood City, California," prepared in the <br />
