<br /> 09/27/2004 <br /> ORIGINAL <br /> ORDINANCE NO. 2273 <br />ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTIONS 2.111, 2.131 AND 25.6 OF THE <br />CODE OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY RELATING BOARDS AND <br />COMMISSIONS <br />THE COUNCil OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY DOES ORDAIN AS <br />FOllOWS: <br />SECTION 1. Chapter 2, Article IX, Division 2 (Civic Cultural Commission), <br />Section 2.111 (Terms and Members) of the Redwood City Municipal Code is hereby <br />amended in its entirety to read as follows: <br />"Sec. 2.111. TERMS OF MEMBERS: <br /> The term of office of each member of the Civic Cultural Commission shall <br />be four (4) years, expiring on May 31 of the fourth year; provided, however, that <br />appointments to the Commission shall be made such that terms shall expire in <br />even-numbered years. Members shall continue to serve until their respective <br />successors are appointed and qualified." <br />SECTION 2. Chapter 2, Article IX, Division 4 (Senior Affairs Commission), <br />Section 2.131 (Terms of Office) of the Redwood City Municipal Code is hereby <br />amended in its entirety to read as follows: <br />"Sec. 2.131. TERMS OF OFFICE: <br /> The term of office of each member of the Senior Affairs Commission shall <br />be four (4) years, expiring on May 31 of the fourth year; provided, however, that <br />appointments to the Commission shall be made such that terms shall expire in <br />even-numbered years. Members shall continue to serve until their respective <br />successors are appointed and qualified." <br />SECTION 3.
