<br /> DES: dU", 10/22/92 (011/11) <br /> o RIG I N A L 11/16/92 <br />ORIDNANCE NO. 2056 <br /> --------- <br /> ORDINANCE CANCELLING PORTIONS OF CERTAIN APPROPRIATIONS <br /> TO SPECIFIED OFFICES, DEPARTMENTS (PROGRAMS AND SUB- <br /> PROGRAMS) OBJECTS AND PURPOSES HERETOFORE APPROPRIATED <br /> BY ADOPTION OF THE MUNICIPAL BUDGET FOR FISCAL YEAR <br /> JULY 1 , 1992 - JUNE 30, 1993 <br /> THE COUNCIL OF REDWOOD CITY DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS: <br /> WHEREAS, pursuant to Ordinance No. 2050 entitled, "An <br />Ordinance of the City of Redwood City Adopting the Final Budget <br />of the City of Redwood City for the Fiscal Year July 1, 1992 - <br />June 30, 1993; Providing for the Appropriation and Expenditure of <br />All Sums Set Forth in Said Budget; Providing for Emergency <br />Expenditures, Transfers, Additional Appropriations and <br />Cancellations of Existing Appropriations; Adopting the Budgets <br />for General Improvement Districts No. 1-64, No. 1-65, No. 2-65, <br />and No. 3-65 For the Fiscal Year July 1 , 1992 - June 30, 1993; <br />Making provision For Interim Expenditures as of July 1, 1993; and <br />Repealing Ordinance No. 2041, and All Ordinances and Resolutions <br />In Conflict Herewith", adopted July 1, 1992 (the "Fiscal Year <br />1992-93 Budget Ordinance") , the several amounts described as <br />resources allocated in the Fiscal Year 1992-93 Budget were <br />appropriated to the offices, departments (therein referred to as <br />"Programs" and "Subprograms") objects and purposes therein stated <br />for fiscal year July 1, 1992 - June 30, 1993; and <br /> WHEREAS, subsequent to adoption of the Fiscal Year 1992-93 <br />Budget Ordinance, the State of California enacted legislation <br />reducing and/or eliminating the transmittal and subvention of <br />certain funds from the State to cities within the State, <br />including the City of Redwood City; and <br />--~-_._- <br />
