<br /> DA. .1t 11/30/87 (#06) <br /> 1966 ORIGINAL <br /> ORDINANCE NO. 1966 APR 1 8 1988 <br /> --------- <br />ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTIONS 20.207, 20.208 AND 20.209 <br />OF CHAPTER 20 OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY RELATING TO <br />RESIDENTIAL PERMIT PARKING <br />THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY DOES ORDAIN, AS <br />FOLLOWS: <br />Section 1. Section 20.207 of Chapter 20 of the Redwood City <br />Code is hereby amended to read as follows: <br /> "Section 20.207. Posting of Residential Permit Parking <br />Area. Upon the adoption of a resolution by the council <br />designating a residential permit parking area, the city <br />manager shall order appropriate signs to be erected in such <br />area indicating prominently thereon the time limitation, day <br />or days, and hours during which parking shall be restricted. <br />Parking restrictions established pursuant to this division <br />shall be in effect between the hours of 7:00 a.m. and 6:00 <br />p.m. from Mondays through Fridays, holidays specified in <br />Section 20.1 excluded." <br /> Section 2. Section 20.208 of Chapter 20 of the Redwood <br />City Code is hereby amended to read as follows: <br /> "Section 20.208. Violations. (a) It is unlawful and a <br />violation of this division, unless expressly provided to the <br />contrary herein, for any person to park a motor vehicle on a <br />street in a residential permit parking area beyond the <br />parking time limit posted by signs giving notice thereof and <br />erected pursuant to this division, without a valid <br />residential parking permit and sticker properly affixed to <br />such vehicle. <br /> 1966 <br /> ..... ._....._......,--~ <br />
