COPY <br />RESOLUTION NO. p-2345 <br />RESOLUTION ACKNOWLEDGING CONSIDERATION PURSUANT TO THE <br />CALIFORNIA ENVIRONMENTAL QUALITY ACT OF THE PROPOSED <br />MITIGATED NEGATIVE DECLARATION AND INITIAL STUDY FOR THE <br />WHARVES 3 & 4 FENDER REPLACEMENT PROJECT LOCATED AT THE <br />PORT OF REDWOOD CITY, CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, IN THE COUNTY OF <br />SAN MATEO; MAKING CERTAIN FINDINGS PERTAINING TO A CERTAIN <br />PROJECT IN CONNECTION THEREWITH; APPROVING THE MITIGATED <br />NEGATIVE DECLARATION TO ENVIRONMENTAL IMPACTS FOR SAID <br />PROJECT; AND AUTHORIZING THE FILING OF A NOTICE OF <br />DETERMINATION AND THE PAYMENT OF EXPENDITURES, FEES AND <br />COSTS RELATED THERETO (Wharves 3 & 4 Fender Replacement Project) <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to the provisions of the California Environmental <br />Quality Act ("CEQA"; Pub. Resources Code §21000, et seq. and 14 Cal. Regs. <br />15000 et seq.), the City of Redwood City, by and through its Board of Port <br />Commissioners (the 'Port") undertook the preparation of an Initial Study and the <br />preparation of a Mitigated Negative Declaration for the Wharves 3 & 4 Fender <br />Replacement project (the `Project') and circulated the Initial Study and the <br />Mitigated Negative Declaration for public comments; and <br />WHEREAS, the Project is located within the Port of Redwood City, at 475 <br />Seaport Blvd., Redwood City, California - APN 054-300-530 (the "Site"). A copy <br />of a map showing the location of the Site is attached hereto for reference <br />purposes only; and <br />WHEREAS, the Port is the lead agency for the CEQA decision; and <br />WHEREAS, the Port has conducted an Initial Study to examine potential <br />impacts of the Project; and <br />Reso <br />DKS 01 17 17 <br />
