<br /> MSR:yc:f)/~?/78 <br /> oRfnlNAL <br /> 1 759 JUL 3 1978 <br /> ORDINANCE NO. 1759 <br /> <br /> --------- - - <br />ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 14.31 OF THE CODE OF THE CITY <br />OF REDWOOD CITY RELATING TO RATES OF CHARGE FOR REFUSE <br />COLLECTION SERVICE <br />THE COUNCIL OF REDWOOD CITY DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS: <br />SECTION 1. Section 14.31 of Article III of Chapter 14 of the <br />Code of the City of Redwood City is hereby amended to read as follows: <br />"Section 14.31 (a) The schedule of charges for sanitary <br />inspection and refuse collection services shall be based upon <br />the type and size of the receptacle in which the refuse is <br />deposited (except for mechanically compacted refuse) and the <br />frequency of service as follows: <br />" (1) For weekly collection from receptacles not emptied <br /> by mechanical means: <br /> CAPACITY OF RECEPTACLES, MONTHLY RATE FOR EACH <br /> IN GALLONS RECEPTACLE <br /> 1 - 20 $ 2.52 <br /> 21 - 40 3.26 <br /> 41 - 60 3.99 <br /> "The charge for collections from each container, the <br /> capacity of which exceeds 60 gallons, shall be $3.99 <br /> plus an amount equal to 6.4¢ times the number of <br /> gallons of such receptacle in excess of 60. <br />" (2) For weekly collections from bin-type receptacles <br /> used with rear-end vehicular loader equipment: <br /> CAPACITY OF RECEPTACLES, MONTHLY RATE FOR EACH <br /> IN CUBIC YARDS RECEPTACLE <br /> 1 $21.65 <br /> 2 41. 06 <br />" (3) For collections from bin-type receptacles used <br /> with front-end vehicular loader equipment the <br /> monthly rate of charge, based upon frequency of <br /> collections per week, number of receptacles, and <br /> for a standard three cubic yard receptacle is <br /> hereby established as follows: <br /> 1 759 <br /> ..,....M... <br />
