<br /> ORtG' NAL <br /> AGREEMENT - ADMINISTRATIVE SUPPORT SERVICES FOR <br /> CITY/COUNTY ASSOCIATION OF GOVERNMENTS <br /> THIS AGREEMENT made and entered into this I~ay of ~ N.-/ , <br />1996, between the City/County Association of Governments ("C/CAG") and the <br />CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, a municipal corporation of the State of California <br />("City"). <br /> RECITALS <br /> WHEREAS, C/CAG is a joint powers agency formed for the purpose of <br />preparing, adopting and monitoring a variety of countywide state-mandated <br />plans; and <br /> WHEREAS, City is a municipality in San Mateo County; and <br /> WHEREAS, it is economically preferable for C/CAG to use outside <br />assistance in the hiring of employees and the maintenance of employee payroll <br />and benefits; and <br /> WHEREAS, City has the capability, and is willing, to provide C/CAG with <br />such assistance and services; <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, the parties hereto agree as follows: <br /> 1. RENDITION OF SERVICES. City agrees to provide administrative <br />support services to C/CAG in accordance with the terms and conditions of this <br />agreement. <br /> 2. FUNDED POSITIONS OF EMPLOYMENT.
