City Manager, Fenton Mee: Reported on the purchase <br />of additional property to enlarge the Corporation Yard and <br />that the Bay Road drainage program I s or,igina1 estimates <br />had been 35% lower than the actual bids received. <br /> <br />Chairman Beals read a letter from Cheryn Meh1, aged 15, <br />to Pasco Balzarini which had. been referred to the Comm- <br />ission, wherein Miss Meh1 requested improved playground <br />equipment at Maddux Park. Secretary Thompson was direct- <br />ed to thank Miss Meh1 for her interest and that the Comm- <br />ission hoped to have plans to improve Maddux Park for in- <br />clusion in next year's budget. <br /> <br />Mr. Balzarini advised the Commission that its stationery <br />was ready. <br /> <br />Secretary Thompson asked permission to re-check on pro- <br />gress or disposition of previous Commissions requests to <br />the City Manager as follows: Stop or slow signs in vic- <br />inity of Stafford Park: direction signs to City parks; <br />Rules & Regulations for Commission meetings. On motion <br />by Mr. Knecht, seconded by Mr. Stuart, and passed, Mrs. <br />Thompson was authorized to check-on the above items.
