Robert Whitmore- at 7: 35 p.m. on December 6, 1967. ON ROLL CALL, the following Commissioners were noted present: Chairman Whitmore, Dixon Arnett~ Ann Gooding (7:50)J Jack Stuart, Doris Thompson and Jim Williams. Absent ~nd exc~sed:Jim Kn~cht. Dept: 3 - Park Dept. - "Bond Issue Priorities 196711 4 - Park Dept. monthly report for November; 5 - Park Dept. - copies of: IIpark Bond IssuesllJ- City map: minutes of S.M.Co. Parks & Recreation Commission; 6 - Copy of speed letter dated 11/28/67, from City Mana- ger to City Attorney re IICanyon Park Parksite' and attaching letter re appraisal negotiations by C. Warren Fox dated 11/27/67. On MOTION of Commissioner Stuart, seconded by Commissioner Thompson, the secretary was requested to write City Manager Ullrich and re-affirm our stand that the Park & Rec. Comm- ission is most anxious that the IICanyon Park Parksitell be acquired as soon as possible by any method available and that further negotiations be resumed immediately for this property that is bounded by Breeze Place, Bain Place and Canyon Road.
