Forrq- Nine~~ f~!T ~~d!Eß Add~ tion ~ <br /> <br />Art Johnson of the Forty-Niners Organization was introduced and formal1y requested <br />permission fram. the Commission and staff- to construct an addition to the Forty- <br />niner building which would house rehabilitation and conditioning equi}Jllent. He <br />stated that the Forty-niners would support and participate in a program for <br />eliminating the fence J& from. around the field and pu-t ting up a protable fence <br />which could be removed when the field was not in \lse' by the Forty-niners. Mr . <br />Johnson introduced Walt Mattson, architect, who explained the new addition <br />would balance archi tectura11y with the present structure. <br /> <br />Motion: <br /> <br />I <br /> <br />Commissioner Rollins moved that the request for the addition of <br />the Forty-niner buil<Ung be approved, seconded by Commis s ioner <br />Knecht. <br /> <br /> <br />On the queetion. the following discussion took place: <br /> <br />Commissioner Weintraub requested that a little more consideration be given before <br />a motion was made and approved. She sugges ted reviewing the contract and was <br />interes ted in the legal procedures which would ~.e followed when - such a change was <br />maae. ~ <br /> <br />
