Redwood City. California.

APPROVAL OF MINUTES

The Commissioners did not receive their May minutes in the mail. Approval
will be deferred until the next meeting.

CORRESPONDENCE

There was no correspondence.

ITEM 1 - 4TH OF JULY PARADE

Chairperson Slusser stated the Commission has received its confirmation to be
in the parade but as of today does not have a vehicle to ride in the parade.
Commissioner Davis will make additional inquiries to obtain a convertible to
be used in the parade and will get back to each of the Commissioners before
the 4th of July. Commissioner Swope noted that the names of the
Commissioners and the description of the vehicle needs to be turned into the
PCA by July 1.

Director Griffiths said the 4th of July race may not be held due to the Main
Street Construction Project. With Main Street torn up, it will present a
hazard to the race participants. A final decision will be made on Friday.
June 26 as to whether or not the race will be held.

ITEM 2 - RED MORTON CENTER RFP UPDATE

Director Griffiths explained the comments received from the Commissioners and
other City departments have been incorporated into a revised RFP for Red
Morton and additional copies of the RFP have been sent to the City Attorney
and Community Development Department for their comments. He noted that
$30,000-40,000 will need to be transferred for the architectural plans for
the RFP which will require City Council approval.
