Members of the Youth
Advisory Council Committee should be Commissioners Berone and Nordness.
The minutes were approved as corrected.

CORRESPONDENCE

-A letter was received from Civic Cultural Commissioner Jeff Filippi stating
his interest in forming a joint task force to discuss the possibility of
developing an after school program for elementary students. He asked if one
or two Park and Recreation Commissioners would be interested in volunteering
to be on this task force. Chairperson Davis said if any of the Commissioners
were interested to let him know and then contact Commissioner Filippi
directly.

ITEM 1 - Red Morton Center

Director Griffiths said that since the May 3 City Council meeting, two
contracts have been negotiated with two different vendors. The first
contract is with Mark Schatz to perform a revenue analysis of the new
center, and the second is with Overstreet and Associates, Inc. of San Jose
who will perform an analysis of moving the administrative offices from the
CAB to the new Red Morton Center. The Commissioners discussed activities
which could be held at the new center and the possibilities for generating
income.

.
