<br />Commission to order at 7: 30 p.m. in -the Community Act-ivities
<br />Building, 1400 Roosevelt Avenue, Redwood City, California.- The

<br />ITEM 1 - SAN FRANCISCO 49ER FIELD- NEGOTIATIONS
<br />
<br />Director Griffiths said the City Council was continuing negotiations
<br />with the 4ger organizations with respect to the renovation of the
<br />
<br />, -
<br />
<br />astroturf and Mitchell Field. The percentage of financial '
<br />responsibility of the 4gers is being determined by the-City Council.
<br />
<br />ITEM 2 - DEPARTMENTAL BUDGET - 1988-89

<br />- -Chairman Buchan encouraged all Commissioners to attend the mid-year
<br />
<br />, ,
<br />
<br />budget rev-iew on Saturday, February 6,1988 at 9:0-0 a.m., -Municipal
<br />Services Center to familiarize themselves with the budget process.
<br />Director Griffiths said the review was basically instructions and
<br />directions from the City Council to staff. It was tentatively,
<br />decided for the Park and Recreation -Commis-s~on to schedule a budget
<br />-study session for Saturday, March 19j 1988. Direc_tor Griffiths said
<br />we would send the Commission last yea-r 1 s objectives so they would
<br />have a reference point to work with.
<br />
<br />ITEM 3 - COMMITTEE MEETING SCHEDULES
<br />
<br />The Stulsaft Park Committee will meet January 20,1988,7:30 p.m. at
<br />Jeff Weiss' house. The Red Morton Center Committee will meet
<br />Tuesday, January 26,1988,7:30 at Judy Buchan's house. Both
<br />Committees will be put on the February agenda for updates.
