The <br />minutes of the November 9,1988 meeting were approved as mailed. <br /> <br />Correspondenc'q~ <br /> <br />Director Griffiths informed the Commission that Ronald Anderson had <br />submitted his resignation from the Park and Recreation Commission <br />this morning. Staff will notify the Clerk's Office to begin the <br />recruitment process. ' <br /> <br />ITEM 1 - MARLIN PARK <br /> <br />Mrs. Virginia Cheetam, 509 Cringle Dr., said she was very pleased <br />with the changes that had been incorporated into the new Marlin <br />Park design, specifically that the parking lot had been omitted. <br />Commissioners Slusser and Mortensen said they had also received <br />comments to retain at least a 1/2 court for basketball near the <br />lagoon. <br /> <br />ITEM 2 - WILLIAM MARTIN LETTER RE PYC BUILDING <br /> <br />Mr. Martin, 633 Hawes St., expressed concerns regarding the <br />potential parking situation once the NFL Alumni begin their <br />operation in the PYC building. Director Griffiths explained the <br />types of activities that would comprise the NFL Alumni operation and <br />also mentioned that Little League, AYSO and Pop Warner would be <br />sharing an office in the building.
